I liked this drama as well. I liked the history and how all of King Sejong's accomplishments came about. It really does teach the history of Korea in a very enjoyable way. Maybe if we had American history dramas on TV, more kids would appreciate how our country came to be and all the great accomplishments we have made in the USA!!!

I read on the Chicago board that originally GKS was supposed to be 100 episodes but it was cut back due to poor ratings - maybe that's why it sort of went more quickly at the end....plus we never really found out what happened to everyone as they aged....or who took over from Sejong....
