I did not like the ambiguous ending. There was promise that Chanwoo and Sukhee would get together eventually but The whole thing with Chanhyuk crying on the phone I did not like. He was constantly running away from Hyokyung and then both of them would cry their eyes out. I hope the scene at the easel during the credits means that they will end up together and not each of them in a marriage to someone they don't love.

This drama's greatest success was in creating very sympathetic characters. They deserved better than what they got last night, which wasn't even a resolution.
I had read a spoiler that Guitar Man became a top pop star. Did they ever mention anything like that last night? I missed the first few minutes, but it didn't seem like it.

They needed one more episode to show a 5 year fast forward--Chanwoo a successful judge and married to Sukhee. Chanhyuk a thriving artist and married to HYoKyung. Dongpal having more kids That would have resolved everyone except for Shinja who maybe could meet Chanwoo's law school buddy at the wedding and fall for him.

Yes, dodgerman, your ending is great.....much more satisfying.
poodlepal, no, I didn't see anything about him becoming a pop star.....he was barely in the last few episodes....

I agree. They should put an alternate ending on the DVD, like they had to do with "How I Met Your Mother," which also had a very unpopular ending.

I have to conclude that HyoKyung and Chankyuk ended up together. After all they dealth with there is no way they would accept anything else. They truly loved one another and the closing scene told me that whatever HyoKyung was told by Chankyuk she would never give up. She was there to remind him that this is where she belonged. I, for one, refuse to believe anything else. MQMT
