Thanks for your insight. I guess you are right, Hyokyung thinks they will give in. Maybe knowing the "bad thing that is going to happen" clouds my opinion of her.
Chanock is much better than Anna. Remember, Anna was not living in a third world country (as Korea still seemed to be to some extent in the 70s and 80s). She was being raised by middle-class people in the United States in the 70s and 80s. I would assume her parents had some money, since they could afford to travel to Korea, hire an adoption lawyer, etc. Anyway, she would have had special ed until the age of 21, and was most likely a high school graduate. I'm sure she was as good as she was going to be able to get with her brain damage.
Chanock would probably be normal if she went to school--maybe a little sensitive, maybe not a National Merit Scholar, but someone who could read, write and support herself. She's pretty close to that anyway, I agree.

I'm watching 3 Days on DF and guitar man is playing the president of Korea...quite a step up from those red jogging pants.

Maybe the "bad thing that is about to happen" finally happened! Notice that Chan-hyuk was just hit by a random truck and not really by Hyokyung's relatives. I guess that's so he can still be in love with her.
Overall, an awful show with some pleasant touches here and there.

Now you all had me curious and I had to go back to look...lol...you are so right it was Manhattan he was supposedly driving through not Paris...OMG...how did they let that pass especially with the big CATS sign!

Maybe they did it purposely to see how many people would notice...lol....
Last night I recognized the young girl that Hyokyung was tutoring - she is Song Hye Kyo and was in Autumn Tale and Hotelier a few years later....where she had co-starring parts.

Well, it certainly looks like Chanwoo will miss his exam....assuming he does or even if he doesn't I wonder if his benefactor, the casino owner, will be very upset or will understand the issues. Also interesting is that the casino owner works for Mrs. Lee - that's her name, right - Sukjin's mother - and so do Hyokyung's father and uncle. Since Mrs. Lee appears to be quite a strong person I wonder if she will have a role in everybody's relationships in the future..... And how cool a fighter is Chanwoo~ Plus how clever figuring out that his brother was being chased and not about to commit suicide.... Poor Chanhyuk - doesn't look great for him at all....I can see how his father carried on in the hospital, but Shinja - omigosh - she really got carried away.....

What a tearjerker tonight...,. And speaking of jerks, good ole Jungnam again has gotten involved with those thugs for no good reason - I hope he at least does get a record made but sort of doubt it. And the casino owner is a real stand-up guy - taking Chanwoo to work with him as well as giving him money to help with the bills....

This show is much better since the "bad thing" happened. Shinja's roommate is a real winner, isn't she?

Is anyone still watching this? I caught up with the episodes I missed last weekend. Thank goodness Chanhyuk woke up - two people in comas was too much.... What confused me, among other things, is Chanwoo is now working with the casino guy whose boss seems to be Sukjin's mom. She is also the boss of Hyokyung's dad - now he seems to be somewhat of a gangster or at least his BIL is - they are the ones that messed up CH - so does having the same boss lady mean the casino guy is a gangster type as well...?

I'm still here. It is even more convulted that Sukhee who obviuosly has a crush on ChanWoo is his boss's boss. It is so weird that in all the Kdramas we have seen, most "poo" people who sleep on the floor go to sleep in their clothes yet we are always seeing Guitar man in his long underwear.

Me too but most of the time I fall asleep in the middle. Between the music and the dark scenes it puts me right out! That's because Guitar Man (aka president of Korea in 3 Days) wears fancy night time club clothes can't have them "mussed" up. That red jogging suit has to go. I just think these actors over act most of the time and those that don't, don't act at all, there is no in-between. Is Lawyer brother going to take the exam next year or is he just going to follow club boss. Madam whats her name is going to be pissed when she finds out the guy who is now a protoge is ChanWoo's brother. Or did she not have a beef with that family and it was just the other family? I am so confused with this!

Good episode tonight with a mini time jump.
The whole family and friends all worked so hard to help Chan-hyuk recover - that was heart-warming...and how cute is the baby general.
I wonder how they paid for his year in the hospital?
So is Hyo-kyung going to pair up with Suk-jin- he has obviously liked her from the beginning...and was just biding his time, I guess....but Chan-hyuk and Shin-Ja - I hope not....I'm still hoping for Hyo-kyung and CH to end up together...
grace, I don't think Mrs. Jun has any issue with CH and family.....

There was a year jump but Sukjin said he was in Paris 5 years? Is he counting the time lets say when we saw him in Korea at the onset of the novel? Had he just come back from France then?
