I knew this was going to happen but still couldn't watch it. He was one of the best characters on there with exception to the VP. I can't wait for this disaster novel to be over, what a mish mosh of plots...so many character flaws. I no longer have pity for Cha's daughter or wife, they are pitiful. At first I thought Poodlepal knew the next novel coming up until I read the scenerio....lol...it could almost be the way the last 3 were! If I were you poodlepal I would submit the plot and they would for sure think they had a winner!!! Anyone know what is coming up next? I looked everywhere but couldn't find anything.

I want to say something, but I don't know what. Words escape me, and also I know how this show resolves and I want to be careful here. I'll wait until then to let loose. Coming Up Next Week: Television Novel: My Dear Love Yeonghui You forgot to mention that this particular Department store specialized in colorful hand dyed Hanboks made by a Soju drinking woman who was left at the alter by her lover.

Well, duh, obviously. You didn't think they were selling Western Clothes, did you? I forgot to mention that there was a movie theater in the mall owned by a rich guy in the mob. He had a daughter who was very pretty but delusional because she thought she could sing/dance/act/design clothing and she was in love with three men. All of them were in love with Yeonghui, however, despite the fact she wore no makeup, didn't comb her hair and wove her own clothing from ginseng. Every time Yeonghui went on break, this other girl would corner her and make her eat lunch with her, where she would tell her off for hours over soju. It never occurred to her that she didn't have to go. Usually, one of the three boyfriends would show up and "save" her. One day, the female owner of the store (who looked like Yeonghui, and coincidentally, Yeonhui also looked like the rich lady's first husband) was hit by a car in her kidney, which began to immediately fail. . . _------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This part is serious. The next "novel" is about a woman who runs a ginseng factory. Whether WMBC will show that, I don't know. It doesn't seem to be on KBS World.

I must say it was very nice to see Cha getting roughed up by the police.....he deserves every bit of it and more.
I am thinking the reason Jeongtae had to die was to give a push to Eunhui and the VP to take some strong action against Cha....sad and unfortunate, of course, but it moved the plot along. After seeing what happened to Jeongtae Cha, even though not directly responsible, was definitely involved and needed to be punished....

Good, the board is working again. I was getting worried.
Why did they have to accuse Mr. Cha of being a communist and torture him? Couldn't they just book him for all the evil things that he really did?
Thank goodness it's almost over.

I have been a lurker here for about 4 years and a huge fan of Kdramas and am really disappointed that the dramas will not be continued. I just emailed WMBCTV and let them know my disappointment in the decision. Unfortunately, the person I emailed, Mr. Cho, is out of town until 5/19. Did someone else get another email by chance? I saw the closed caption email option but didn't feel that was appropriate. Another thing to note which was included in my email was that many people who may miss the dramas may not speak English and may not actually email the station because of this. This is the case for my friend whose mother has been living in the US since the 80's and still only speaks Korean. So disappointing! Thanks for letting us know Mara. The withdrawals will be hard!

You know, I had a bad feeling. I had heard that "Land of Gold" was not being sent over. This was the next "Television Novel." I've also noticed that infomercials are taking over many time slots. On the radio, many weekend shows have been replaced with ads for dubious cures, including the pet show on WOR. They will probably make more money showing another go-round of Cindy Crawford and the melon juice that doesn't age your skin.
I will send them my complaint, however.

I sent them a letter telling them about how important it was to continue with cultural shows for the Korean audience. The station is owned by Korean born-again Christians.
What should we do if they don't listen to us? Should we find a show on the internet and all watch it at 9:30?
