myoko - Welcome to the Board - we are happy to have a new member - are you also watching in the NY/NJ area on WMBC?
I hate to say but I can't get the names of the actors straight - I don't do well with English names either... ;-)
And I agree, latina, too much blood and torture last night - I hope that doesn't last too long....

Myoko, Welcome aboard and you are correct.. I knew Jo An was Nayun in the series about the Dad with Amnesia but I put down the wrong series name. So far the Energizer Bunny CP has been shot with an arrow and stabbed but keeps on going. His uncle who was tortured was burned and beaten and in the next scene he is sitting at the ministers table healthy as can be. Enough battles, bring on the court politics.

.....His uncle who was tortured was burned and beaten and in the next scene he is sitting at the ministers table healthy as can be....... lol, I thought the same thing, dodgerman - they seem to recuperate quickly from those nasty beatings and torture - a few scratches and that's it.

I had to laugh too when the Uncle and then the minister got tortured to the brink of death and then could function sensibly. I'm all for speedy recovery, but Asian shows take it to a higher level ha ha!!
Energizer Bunny's going to have a lot of battle scars by the time this series is over. I thought he had heightened esp or something, every warrior should know to watch their backs. I wonder who the real rat is?

So it was all a ploy. They planned and executed it well. I knew Damdeuk wasn't dead but I didn't see the end result coming.

Me neither - the plot was well done - I thought those two brothers were traitors for sure and I couldn't figure out the general at the end - the one that lost his head..... The head general whose son was tortured doesn't say much but he seems to get stuff done quite nicely, and the other general from the last drama he's pretty good also. It was funny at the end when they were all saying no they didn't do anything to win the battle, the other guy did.....

It was awesomely done, and in the previews we see Damdeuk being treated like a criminal or something, so no doubt it's to lure someone out again; I sure hope it is. I like the head general/King, I was getting kinda impatient there but he's done good .

OK so let me get this straight, Ko Mu is Damdeuk's Grandfather and the King that looks as old as Ko Mu is Damdeuk's father, Ko Mu's eldest son. Ko Chang and the other warrior girl are Damdeuk's uncle and aunt, and Nayun and Dae Jo Young's son are Damdeuk's sister and brother...
I wonder if it's safe to say that Cookie/Bongi will be Damdeuk's love interest? I hope it's not going to be a triangle involving the evil, big-headed crown prince or General Gae's son.

Well, I'm completely lost - Damdeok's brother, formerly known as Geom, DJY's son, is the Crown Prince it seems - isn't he younger than Damdeok - in real life he's five years younger - so why is he the CP and not Damdeok?
As far as the other relationships I'm completely confused - the king is his father and the general his grandfather - I didn't realize that somehow....oy.....
It was funny when the other CP was losing his temper - he definitely has an anger issue.
Dodgerman should be happy as the court politics has started - please explain them to me!

I kept wondering whose son Damdeok is for him to be a Prince, they did good in hiding that I guess, ha ha. I got that Damdeok gave up on becoming the CP so he could be in battle, his grandfather must have gave up the throne to do the same thing it seems. They're hot blooded warriors. Damdeok looks like he's going to put his lips on the poisoned pipe next weekend.

One secon Mo Ku the granfather most bee the father of the Queen(Songi from 3 bros, or Bongi's mom from Smiled again). Maybe Damdeok is a son of a consort? ?. I'm getting bored that the same guy Murong Bao (CP) is going to trying to kill him for 4th time???

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwanggaeto_the_GreatHere's what wikipedia has - it does contain spoilers. His father is the current king - Iryeon (sp?). I think I read somewhere that the CP (Geom) might be fictional. And the General Ko Mu is, I think, his great uncle as he called the General's son, the one who got captured and tortured, uncle.....

Thanks for the link, Mara. Yeah, Soli's not Ko Mu's daughter. She looks better in this show, curls do not compliment her at all.
Latina, I was getting tired of murang's face too but then I realized that in battles like those, it's a greater victory for the enemy to surrender and submit than to be killed. So until the Murangs do that or die off mysteriously, we may have to go through this for a while. And if that means more snarling and grunting from Damdeok, then I'll take it, lol!!!

I clicked on the link to the show in the one you gave, Mara, and looking at the cast, it lists Ko Mu as Damdeok's grandfather. But the whole read was very interesting and encouraging as well. Dammang or Geom is supposed to be older than Damdeok, I can see why he'd be fictional, he looks like the baby of the family lol.
