I am one episode behind and I am finally getting into this - I have always liked historicals even when they are fictionalized....and the different guys in funny hats are looking more and more familiar...;-)

Episode 17---instead of 30 dopey soldiers with swords, how about ten dudes with bow and arrows? 5 from the front, 5 from the back--end of traitor Gil

That's a little more realistic though. That Gil Tae MI was pretty lethal at close range since he was the best swordsman in the country. Basically cuts through soldiers like butter!
But... He has a twin!

How is everybody? I miss you. I started watching two mothers, but got too busy with work. May is horrible. My mother wants to watch a lighter, 30 minute show with me (two mothers was pretty heavy), I'm thinking Cheer Up Mr. Kim or Save the Family. Unfortunately, internet went down, so got delayed.
Say hello to Young Master and the piglets nurses for me.

Finally checked out the cast listing on asianwiki.....the Teacher - Jeong DoJeon - was in A New Leaf, Lord of Dramas and Beethoven Virus - he looked so familiar to me but the historical get-up threw me off...lol...
YoonHee has been in quite a few as well...

I tried to watch Unusual Family--it just started, I can't look ahead--but we've been having trouble with YouTube loading on the television at night lately. I think the router's going. I'll let you know if it's light or 30 minutes for that matter.

Half way done with this. It is a good historical --not on a par with The Great King Sejong or Iron Empress but it is good.

One of the posted comments on DF said it is like a Korean game of Thrones. It does have the different factions fighting for the throne, blood and a lot of men who have beards and are always dirty. It doesnt have the sex, cursing, nudity or dragons

The actress playing Yeon Mi was the bad girl with he short Red hair in Roof Top Prince & was in Wonderful Mama. She looks totally different.

The good thing about this show us that it doesn't have lengthy dialogue or court intrigue. Lots of action happening outside the palace.

Game of Thrones is in a kingdom like early England and they are fighting for the Throne and against the outside enemies. It is all I watch other than Survivor which i have been watching for 16 years and kdramas
