I looked it up. People are saying it is the worst ever, which makes me look forward to it even more!

I looked it up. People are saying it is the worst ever, which makes me look forward to it even more! Are you sure you want to watch it? Where did you read that? When it comes down to it, if we decide we don't like it, since it's basically just us and dodgerman who won't like it anyway....we can always dump it and start another.....right?

I read it on drama wiki. Of course, there are complaints about every drama, if you read those message boards. I'm willing to give it a chance. There's some development that happens after a scene in a fountain that they got mad about. Now I'm really curious! If there's something you like better though, let me know. Of the three I tried out, it looked the most dramatic, and I've never seen two middle aged people trying to get married to avoid their kids getting married. That's a new one!

I watched the first ep - seems okay - a lot of familiar faces....the woman in the limo - Taejong's mom from Angel's Revenge with a different hair style - couldn't figure out who she was for a while....the eldest from Three Brothers and a couple of others I have seen here and there.....
Is there always some sort of accident in the first episode of a drama? Isn't that when Areum spilled the milk in Seongun's lap?

Always. Going back to even the earliest ones I watched, where she would accidentally steal his watch or something.
I remember a woman refusing to sell tea to a shop that sold coffee. Then I remember falling asleep. I didn't see Seryoung, the girl who was paralyzed later on. I wonder when she shows up.
So far, neither the best or the worst.

Watched ep 2 - so far it seems fairly straightforward - one family is the granny who sells tea and her son and his wife and three children and a younger daughter who helps the granny. Then there is the guy whose phone was taken accidentally by one of the aforementioned children - she is a nurse in the hospital - his mom is Tagyong's mom from AR. She evidently as a young girl lived in granny's house and was thrown out - she has never forgiven granny....have we been there already...lol.....

Glad you can figure it out. I'm still confused, but I fell asleep so hopefully I'll stay awake tonight.

Glad you can figure it out. I'm still confused, but I fell asleep so hopefully I'll stay awake tonight. You watch it on youtube, right....you can re-play it - it's not like it's on tv.... I find it really unbelievable, of course we have seen it many times, that someone slaps another person like in tonight's episode....could you imagine that happening here? Poor Areum got slapped a few times also....

I like the traditional tea lady and the traditional house....reminds me of the good old dyeing back in the TV Novel.... ;-)
But these people are all so nasty and close-minded...some of them that is - the granny, the company president's daughter -she's the b---- of this one, I guess, and the younger sister is a PITA as well......
And starting with ep 1 on a Monday is so convenient - I never could remember what ep we were on - also had to look it up...lol...

Didn't mean I like granny, just the traditional stuff of which she is the model....
The young boy - the nephew of eldest Three Brother's wife - is very good like Hyeokmin of the Love and Secret fat family....cute how his mom thought his test score was low and the dad high...lol....
Considering the nurse was the sole support of the family evidently, before she lost her job, granny surely could be a tad nicer to her...forbidding her to drink coffee outside the house...duh....

This is what I'm able to gather between naps.
There's a family of people that are both lazy and hardworking. Granny has rare tea talent, but refuses to sell the tea to anybody. Dad has an antique store, but refuses to sell the antiques ?--I think. Nurse is a good woman, her sister is awful and has an invisible burn scar.
Random men. Cast man, some friends of his.
Seryeong is the daughter of the rich man. She becomes paralyzed as I noted on my episode chosen at random. I think nurse's boyfriend wants to marry her out of pity at some point.
This is very much a hybrid between the "cell phone" dramas and the "television novels." It is less glamorous than the last three we've seen, and it also seems less evil. So far so good.

OK, update. Nurse girl was fired. Seryeong, who is soon to be paralyzed, is evil. She is truly bad while the "burn victim" is just incredibly stupid. They have stuff they would cover her scar with if she gets a job on television.
Grandma had an apprentice but they are not speaking. Cast boy wants to make bean cakes and his orange haired friend wants to be a doctor.
Love the divorced couple and their Beatle-haired son! I laughed out loud at their scenes yesterday. Like them much better than the frat house of musicians from Love and Secret. Also, they seem to actually interact with the main characters. Bet dodgerman doesn't like them, but Seryeong should cheer him up with her awfulness, at least while she's walking. Lying and getting someone fired from a nursing job is almost as bad as sending someone to Russia!

Finished ep 7....so nurse girl supports the whole family whose members are all adults and conceivably able to earn some money at least - and they are pissed that she got fired and can't take out a loan....omigosh.....
