I wouldn't have recommended Bel Ami. It was a little weak in my opinion. Of the ones you were considering, I would recommend Suspicious Housekeeper over Dr. Stranger. Even though it's a remake of a Japanese drama, it's a little more different than the usual out there. Dr Stranger wasn't awful but suffered a bit from bad writing, pacing and non descript ending. madman999, I recommended that one to dodgerman as a filler until he and I and whoever else are ready to start our next 'weekend drama' - Suspicious Housekeeper and Faith, I think, are our top picks....

I saw You're beautiful a few years ago. It has always been rated as one of the most popular korean shows . Getting back to an earlier discussion, after having seen You're Beautiful and Heirs with Park ShinHye I remembered that I had put Heartstrings - also with her and the actor Jung YongHwa who was also in You're Beautiful - on my DF queue. For some reason I couldn't watch it on the Roku only on the computer so I forgot about it. Now it works on the Roku so I have gotten back to it - seems cute as a filler until we are all back on the same page with our daily and weekend dramas....

I have watched it. It's good and I would recommend it. One of the most popular series of 2013-14.
The male lead Kim Soo Hyun was in Dream High(he played the country hick turned superstar).
The female lead Gianna Jun is regarded as one of the prettiest actresses in Korea. However her best talent is that she's very funny doing physical comedy scenes.

And Park HaeJin....from Famous Chill Princesses and By Land and Sky/As Much as Heaven and Earth....which some of us saw on WMBC...I think he went into the army as he didn't make anything for a few years...vaguely remember reading that at the time....

I just finished Playful Kiss which was a High School-college romance from 4 years ago. I think I will start either Faith or Angel Eyes as an extra show. I am waiting for Pinocchio to be have all 20 eps on DF Maybe that could be our next "Weekend" drama.

I think I watched ep 10 or 11 last night -where the alien ended up bleeding in the street after the car hit him.....I am going away for a couple of days so will fall a bit behind.... I'll go with Pinocchio - the Suspicious Housekeeper is going on about another month....

I just checked Dramafever and they had a list of the 10 most popular shows for this week: Pinocchio Birth of a Beauty Healer Running Man(some sort of variety show) Roommate The King's Face The Virtuous Queen Han Mischievous Kiss 2 Boys Over Flowers My Love From Another Star High School Love ON
My vote for the "weekend" show after Suspicious Housekeeper is either Pinocchio( with Park Shin Hye) or Healer (with Park Min Young), I dont know who the main actors are in them because I never check that!!

Well, you seems to know who the female leads are...lol.... Actually the actors in Healer look more interesting to me as they don't look familiar from their photos on asianwiki and the plot sounds a bit more interesting but I could go with either one....after I think it's just the two of us right now watching the 'weekend' drama...lol...
We still have another couple of weekends with SH....

We can do one as the "weekend "one and one as the extra one to replace Alien Boy.
