I saw Autumn in my Heart---the first of the Endless Love Quartet. Did not like it at all. Once the 2 switched girls became older, it just dragged on and on. Loved that both of them died. Even Song Hye kyo looked much better with the shorter reddish hair in Descendants of the Sun. Are the other 3 like this?

I felt that Autumn was the most depressing - after I think they improved....I liked the music and scenery as well as the story.....

My girlfriend and I just finished watching Winter Sonata based on recommendations from You all. Interesting seeing the Suspicious housemaid actress when she was younger. Those hair styles from that time period are extremely dated by today's standards. Not to mention that Asia at that time was about 10 years behind the West in terms of fashion. Things have changed since.
I was interested in the ski resort they filmed much of the drama in. Might visit it next year before the Olympics takes place there.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yongpyong_ResortAccording to above That Winter The Wind Blows was also filmed there - I haven't seen that yet. Glad you liked Winter Sonata - that's actually the second in the series: I: Autumn in My Heart II: Winter Sonata III: Summer Scent IV: Spring Waltz as per earlier post above, dogerman saw Autumn and did not like it....I loved them all - had to keep the tissue box handy.... It would be cool to go skiing there, I'm sure....
