www.roku.com/latina, above is the site for the roku.....hope that helps. There are other types of streaming devices as well but I chose the roku. It plugs into the TV preferably with an HDMI cable and then you put the other plug into an electrical outlet and set it up. As I said you need Wifi.....

Just an FYI in case anyone didn't know, there are other free avenues for watching Kdramas out there. Some of the ones I use
If you gave an Hd flat screen TV with an ota antenna, I think there is a free channel for Ariang TV on 47-5.
If you have Time Warner Cable and have the appropriate package there are Korean channels starting around on 1475 to 1493.
If you have home Internet and a laptop, dramafire.com is a good website. Others I have used are Gooddrama.net and DramaGo.com
If you have a tablet, cell phone or other device that can display to a TV there are apps available like Viki, Crunchyroll and Dramania along with Dramafever and Hulu plus and Dishworld(available on Roku). You don't need a TV. Some of these apps are available on the iPhone and iPad as well.
Other than my cell phone and tablet, I have used a Google TV device(Logitech Revue) and a Android smart stick(using spas mentioned above) to display to a TV. Some smart TV and Blu-ray players have this capability as well.
Enjoy!

Hi madman999 I didn't know Viki had a TV app have to look for it on my TV. I have Cablevision and we do have an option for a korean package at $10/mo but I find most of what I want to watch is on DramaFever. I will check out that Viki app though, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the info, madman999. Like grace, I usually watch DF. My cable provider, Verizon FIOS, only seems to offer MBC - I had it free for a while and many of the dramas were old or not Esubbed. I just downloaded the Viki app on my tablet. Some of those you mention like Hulu Plus and Dishworld aren't free but they're good to know about....

I saw in another post that you found the KBS channel on YouTube. This Android app is pretty good and has access to some of the newer dramas not found on Viki or Dramafever. Even allows downloading so you can watch off line. www.mobi24.net/dramania.phpTo install you need to allow installs from unknown sources in the security settings. madman999 - from your posts it seems you do a lot of your kdrama viewing on your phone/tablet? I tried to watch Dramafever on my tablet but it usually buffers even more than it does on my TV via Roku....;-)

Not all apps perform the same. A lot has to do with how fast your Internet is and what server you are streaming from.
Also, I've been using an older version of Viki that I saved on my Android devices and don't update because it doesn't display advertisements most of the time. I like the older interface better.
If you have android and want to try it I can provide a link for you.

thanks, madman999 - I am thinking that it is an issue with my wifi signal as when I check the speed of my connection on my tablet it is very low sometimes....I will have to think what to do about that....Tonight I started watching a drama on the KBS Youtube app on my tablet (a Google Nexus) right next to my router and then I moved further away and the connection was okay.... So btw did you watch the dramas on WMBC before they went off the air? It seems we have more new members since they stopped showing kdramas...lol....are you a long-time fan?

I started watching in 2012. Fortunately, technology got better and more choices for viewing.

I loaded up Dramafever on one of my Android devices just to take a look at any new changes. It's a lot more improved from when I looked at it a year ago. Alot more content and some shows that Viki doesn't have.

I have 3 more episodes [edited to say, New Leaf]left. What are w e going to watch next??? Someone(Madman???) suggested Golden Cross. I am up for that or Miss Korea that Lettie suggested. Whatever you want is fine with me.....I already have GC in my queue....let us know when you are ready....I will copy this to the other thread - Other Dramas - as well....

asianwiki.com/Golden_Cross
asianwiki.com/Miss_Korea
asianwiki.com/Shining_Romance
I think I prefer Golden Cross - the first two are on dramafever - but Shining Romance is not - I really prefer watching on DF....
I vote for Golden Cross.....
