Episode 1
Saw episode1. I was a little grossed out by the vomit, and a little concerned that it would be dark (there was another boiling water suicide attempt, for example) but I'm intrigued. It looks promising and I love that the evil MIL is a bit of a fool herself. That's different--they are usually put together, poised, etc. The story won't really start until episode 2, but so far, looking good.

Finished Episode 1. Saw it on Goodrama. There was little vomit just some drool. Recognized the very pretty intern---she was Miran(the bio Mom of the little boy) in Happiness In The Wind.

Spoiler alert: there's blood on episode 2. I think I will make this my weekend drama, I think 5 days a week may be a bit much. Very intriguing, though. I like the romantic comedy aspect of the show but not the ER aspect so much. I knew I had seen that beautiful intern someplace, couldn't place her. I'm glad you have a good memory.

Episode 4 Hmm. Woman who wants to be doctor but people are mean to her. Doctor who gives up medicine and moves out to the woods. Spoiled rich girl with some questionable behavior. Where have I seen this before? Now, we just have to find out some babies have been switched, and we have Modern Day, Western Medicine Samsaengi!

In the middle of episode 8. I don't think there will be any misplaced children for once. Similar to Sly & Single again with a divorced couple wor5king together and maybe having feeling s for each other.

I like this one better than Chives and Soup so far. It's faster and easier to follow--pretty much figured out all the characters and the situations by episode 2. My favorite character is Han Ah Rheum, named after a chain of Korean supermarkets in New Jersey!

Very easy to follow--everyone is grownup & even know who their mommies are. I like Ah Reum the best too--loved her as Miran in happiness in the Wind.

I'm up to about Ep 5 or 6....I like this one except for the bloody stuff...interesting families and familiar faces - a lot going on. It's nice to see a modern up to the day drama again.

Episode 5 was interesting. I can see the wheels turning in the writers' heads. Writer #1: OK, so Jin See did a tracheotomy on a dying man, and can get in trouble for it. . .but seriously, how much trouble? She was clearly trying to save his life, and she is a med school graduate who's allowed to do such procedures, so we can't really stretch this out too long. What should we do?
Writer #2: I know. . . give her a never before mentioned punk rock sister!
I love it when K-dramas do things like this! It really is a pleasure to see a modern day show that doesn't have the dreariness of those Korean War "Novels."

Hmm. I see a pattern emerging.
On the next episode Chief Resident: Jin Hee go watch this girl while I get the paperwork. She got stitches in her toe. Jin Hee: OK. Girl: Help me! Help me! Jin Hee: She's going into cardiac arrest. Her blood pressure is 2 over 1 and her heart is beating 3 beats per minute! (Grabs defibrillator and brings her back to life.)
Chief Resident: OK, Jin Hee, there's an old man who got a splinter removed from his finger. Go check on him. Jin Hee: OK. Old Man: Help me! Help me! Jin Hee: He's having a seizure! His brain waves are out of control! (Grabs brain wave machine away from Ah Reum, and gives the patient a shot of something)
Chief Resident: Good work, Jin Hee. Now there's a guy who just got his ankle taped up. Go see if he's OK. Guy with sprained ankle: Help me! Help me! I have a terrible pain! Jin Hee: In your ankle? Guy: No. Why would my ankle hurt? In the right side of my stomach. Owww! (passes out) Jin Hee: His appendix just burst! The germs are filling his peritoneal cavity! (Grabs anasthesia from Chang Min and performs emergency appendectomy).
Chief resident: OK, Jin Hee. You're useless and from the low class, but I'll let you look on this little girl who has a hive. . .

Have you noticed that they don't always wear gloves and they never wear a surgical mask??? I am in the middle of episode 17 and like this. When I am done with this I probably will go on to A New Leaf--it is about lawyers and stars my favorite--Park Min Young.
