I am now up to episode 12 and I can hardly wait for the next ones to be uploaded! Lol Considering I was watching this one as filler while waiting for episodes of the other dramas I'm watching. The young cast have done such a good job that I'm a little wary about the adult cast. One thing that's niggling at me is the person who played the young Joon Soo was very tall and the person replacing him is not so much. I guess I'll just have to suspend belief just a bit until I get used to him playing that character. This drama has hook, line and sinker! Hope it stays that way. :-)

Great news! I'm only on episode 1, and can only watch half an episode a night, but so far it's promising, as is my "weekend" series, Emergency Couple.

I haven't seen the "change over" yet, I can't wait till tonight, unless the other board members want me to wait. Such an odd name for a drama isn't it? Its not like they have a soup restaurant, they make dumplings...lol. Can't imagine where the name stems from.

I am very confused here. This is what I've figured out from episode 1:
1. Family #1--Widow with curly blunt cut, daughter with bangs. Also has a little boy. Moved to Seoul from Busan. 2. Family #2--Rich lady, daughter with long reddish hair who is a vehicular manslaughterer (but apparently it was ruled an accident) 3. Family #3--lady with wedge, can't figure out her relatives yet 4. Boy who beat up the bullies--can't figure out which family he's a part of
I'm assuming that the bully-beater and the sad girl with the bangs are our main couple?

Beginning of episode one is a teaser of what happens and is picked up again in Ep. 14 after the characters "grow up".

I have no idea why it's called what it is but this other title makes more sense.

Thanks, lettle. Here is my update of what I have figured out:
1. Family #1--widow, Jang Gook, brother. 2. Family #2--Woman with short hair, husband working in Viet Nam with girlfriend Hai Mi. They speak (bad) English to each other. 3. Family #3--Woman with longer hair, husband, brother in law with "old" girlfriend
Kids 1. Children of family #1 (see above) 2. Brave Boy, girlfriend of Jang Gook 3. Annoying boy, making fun of JG's accent 4. Girl with wet workbook (I realize you probably can't remember, by episode 14, that this girl got her workbook wet when JG spilled water on it, but I'm behind you here. Is she the rich girl?) 5. Band of bullies. I hope they get phased out, I can't stand watching people being beaten up.
Can't figure out which kid goes with which family quite yet, but today is another day!

I'm watching Emergency Couple on the weekends. I don't think I could take the blood and guts each night--on episode 2, they punctured someone's lung and all the blood oozed out. This show seems to have nothing disgusting about it, at least. I have a way to go to episode 14, since I only watch about a half hour a night, and the episodes are an hour long.
Anyway, to catch you up: A girl named Jang Gook moved to Seoul. Her mother has a dumpling shop with her grandmother, and there is an aunt in the "States." She likes a boy Joon Soo who is always fighting bullies. He has a rich girl liking him--hmm, we've heard this before, huh? The rich girl (Dal Sae, or something like that) has an adulterous father and an angry mother. Jang Gook has a mother with longer, reddish hair who I've seen before someplace, and seems sort of shallow. She is not related to the girl with long, reddish hair who hits the father with the car.
Anyway, there is no Korean War, no abused orphans, no communist torturers, and I don't think any murderers. Everyone seems to be related to their own relatives. It's really odd.
