Yes, I agree with you , Linda - I was confused last week - strange about the different surnames though.....maybe an adopted son.....and isn't he a good friend to Damdeok.....
I'm getting a bit tired of his snarl - it seems to be the only way he can talk.....
But Hwang Hoe is awfully nice looking....

Maybe the Prime Minister married one of Ko Mu's daughters? In any case, I really can't stand that Prime Minister.

Now we know that the Mohe people invented the Mohawk hairdo & the Houyan are screaming psychotics. Is there anyone in the drama that does not scream when they talk// The screami8ng and snarling is getting old real quick..

Yakyeon and Ko Mu resemble a lot, I wonder if they're related irl?

Well, they piped down on the screaming a little bit tonight, right, Dodgerman? I knew the shifty motions of Hwang Hoe was going to lead up to something, he just didn't seem settled. Mara, in one of the earlier episodes, it was mentioned that Ko Un and Damdeok grew up together. I think it was the Prime Minister that said it, then he said something about Ko Un taking the throne in the future. I was wondering that too, Myoko, the eyes and cheekbones have a similar structure. I don't care for the Prime Minister either; I never liked internal strife in these shows.

Who is Yakyeon?, I watch this drama with the volumen very low I just cann't take the screaming...Actually is a fun drama to watch when you think of it as a fiction. I think that the actor that plays Damaeok was a wrong choice for playing young Damaeok, he is very tall, and doesn't look young at all, beside when he is mad he shows his teeth like Mihno from High Kick whe he wanted to be tough, hahaaha,

......beside when he is mad he shows his teeth like Mihno from High Kick whe he wanted to be tough, hahaaha, hehehehe, latina, good one! I knew Damdeok reminded me of someone and it's Minho making his tough face.... ;D After I read on the Chicago board that this historical was based on a comic, it became a bit more understandable - whether the writers and directors intended or not, it seems like all the actors are like caricatures of people rather than people.....

Yakyeon is the female soldier that works with Ko Mu, Latina. You can't miss her, just look for the girl that looks like Ko Mu ;D. And I certainly remember the times Minho did the snarling thing, ha ha! Poor Damdeok.

Thanks, Linda, isn't she Ko Mu's daughter in this drama??

No prob, Latina. She calls Ko Mu father, but I don't know if she's his biological daughter or if he just took her in and looked after her; and they don't put Ko Yakyeon, it's just Yakyeon when they show her name.
Ha ha, Bu Kiwon has come aboard! If I see Xue Rengi or Li Kaigu next, I just might faint. Tomorrow's episode looks exciting, well the beginning at least. Damdeok doesn't get to the village 2 minutes and a fight breaks out.

Lol@linda, you sure do love the Dae Jo Young guys. Lee Tae Gon must've channelled George Clooney for this role, his expressions are just as limited and then there's the constant nodding when he talks. I still like the goth look but he could spice his acting up a bit more. I want to add that I'm enjoying this nonetheless; I find it extra funny when the villains run up to the camera, pose and look off angrily then stomp back to the background to yell.

I think it's the Chicago board or maybe the CA one that I read from time to time - the posters there just hate Lee Tae Gon in this role....I only saw him once before in a modern drama and I can barely recognize him now......he only seems to have one or two expression as myoko just said.....actually most of them do - they all seem to sneer a lot.....

Augggh, the plan's going so well but they forgot to think about being followed? How do you do that when you know you have the devil on your backside in Gae Yeonsu?
Speaking of the beginning/end scenes, is Bu Kiwon trying to see how many faces he can make in each of his?
The previews don't look good for the Darichun villagers nor Damdeok. I'd have offed that Prime Minister a long time ago and gotten him out of the way, but, I guess Damdeok wants to win his heart too.

Ga rayeon(?) Is hilarious! I agree that the Prince and crew should have at least known they would be followed, especially the older general among them. Even my six month old is more alert.
