One month down. Lawyer girl needs to get meaner. She has to get so angry with BabyMom that she sends her to Russia. While in Russia, baby Mom learns how to fly the drones, comes back and drops drones on everyone--The Fat Family, her folks, Lawyer Girl, her Ex, his disappeared ex wife, the cafe with all those people I dont care about. That way she can end up with her boss. Otherwise, we are going to get 5 more months of the love triangle, Baby Mom crying and everyone playing "Let"s Pass Around the Baby"

Bar owner seems too good a person for his own good. Every one seem to be all over him. While all these extra characters do not add much to the story they form fillers the writers need to enable the drama to drag on for nth degree. And I like your idea of "Let"s Pass Around the Baby".

With these long daily dramas I guess it is impossible not to have a bunch of sub-plots and as poodlepal has said over the years, some of them just sort of disappear and others become more important.
I also like the bar owner - interesting that his old friend saw the resemblance with the guitar girl who is evidently his daughter that he doesn't know about....
And today's ep 23 I think has that baby being dragged a bit more....it is quite resilient.

I skipped ep. 23 but will try to catch 24 tonight. I skipped two days and the story hadn't progressed much at all. I knew that there had to be someone's daughter they didn't know about!
I am still waiting to hear BabyDaddy's story. If he's a good guy, there will be no point to this show at all.

This show would make a great drinking game Every time Areum cries--take a shot Every time they pass the baby around--take a shot every time Areum tells some one --Oh, she's my niece-- take a shot

I could break out a cold beer right now and start playing, dodgerman, if it wasn't 10 in the morning...lol...
poodlepal, Baby Daddy seems to be legit enough but we don't know much about his business practices yet and, of course, he did dump Areum seemingly unexpectedly and didn't contact her for well over a year....

Have to post fast, battery dying. Shades of Eunhui! Sad sack with all these men after her! Too bad tomw isn't watching with us, he'd love it.
Good catch about Baby Daddy's business practices and secretiveness. Hope he's bad--much better looking, though, than ModelAirplane Guy.

I don't know about that, poodlepal....both guys are good-looking imo, in different ways...not sure which I would choose if only based on looks....;-)

Areum is a working single Mom--where does she get the money for a new coat in every episode??? She has worn 5 different outer coats this week.

I think it's the same in all the modern day dramas we watch. They never wear the same outfit twice and sometimes the closet/storage space in their rooms is tiny....I'm not talking about the wealthy characters but the working ones...
Of course, since Areum works at a clothing company, maybe she has an employee discount. ;-)

True, BabyDaddy is sort of metrosexual. Airplane Guy is more manly looking. Next week, I'll be able to watch during the day. My mother doesn't like the show, she finds it depressing the way everyone is mean to the single mother. She was in that position back in 1970 or so, having to go back home with her daughter (me) and her mother was not happy about having a messy, noisy kid back in the house. I think it's hitting a bit too close to home for her. I thought this show would be more like Angel's Revenge, where the BabyDaddy would be evil . Instead, it's like a Hallmark movie.

poodlepal, thanks for sharing your history....I can see why your mom has issues with this one. I knew a couple of young women at about that time who were single mothers and at first, and actually one of them for quite some time, hid the fact. I guess back then it was much more of an issue than now. And still is, evidently, in Korea.
Back to metrosexual...looked up the definition and I'm thinking the opposite - AG seems more one to make fashion statements as well as working in the industry whereas BD looks more of a businessman - at least as far as outward appearances go. As far as their looks, to me, neither looks all that manly....sort of cute which appeals to me....;-)

So how will the Minister maybe not 2B get out of this one....I wonder if all candidates are subject to that same scrutiny or if the man who wants this post and evidently sent the reporter to follow Areum's dad was going off the deep end.
It also looks like BD is getting it...

Sorry guys, I am not able to get to contribute into discussion on going saga of Areum's struggles.. this is a decent drama based on usual korean drama formula.. may be I have seen too many of them or the anticipation of nightly 9:30 TV is gone.... get over it Dodgerman, Areum is a fashion designer and should wear a new outfit every day to flaunt the new designs..and yes, at the company's expense!!!!!!
