I got recommendation from YouTube showing a clip from episode 88 or so. There's a baby in someone's arms, though it could be Jihui's.
Does anyone else suspect that this is a "TV Novel" that they bumped ahead to present time? There are anachronisms all over the place. Why on Earth did Seonyu stand around with a giant pile of money in her hand? Who has cash like that in this day and age?I can't remember if it was in an account, but it should have or could have been transferred to Sis's next of kin.
Is What Happens. . . on every day in Korea? Or is it a weekly drama?

asianwiki.com/What_Happens_to_My_FamilyIt is a weekend drama..... Yes, Seonyu shouldn't have had that money - it was in the sister's account....don't even know how Seonyu could have gotten it so easily....maybe the hospital has to be paid in cash? I know Japan is still very much cash based but I don't think Korea is - in other dramas people ask those to whom they owe money often for their account numbers and they transfer it with their cell phones....

With the sister being dead, XNun would be her next of kin and have access to her accounts.

With the sister being dead, XNun would be her next of kin and have access to her accounts. Since I don't know anything about Korean law I can't speak to the exact method to access someone's accounts. But here in the US it sure isn't that easy unless you had a joint account. I know from my mom what hurdles I had to jump to get the little money she had left in her nursing home account when she passed - it took months.... This whole thing about the food poisoning - shouldn't the family have called the cops after the guys came and trashed the shop. And still no proof that it was their food. We know it wasn't but how did all those folks get sick...maybe they put something in the water at the factory?

I don't believe they are sick--I think they are on the payroll of Taejeong. Seonyu's family would have gotten the money, but it would most likely be passed electronically into some account, not handed in giant wad of cash. And who stands around a store with said giant wad in hand, anyway?
This is enjoyable for now, but it's getting monotonous. Bad thing after bad thing. Can't wait for the "revenge" to begin.

I think they were on the payroll of T as well, but they all were at the hospital - would the hospital be caring for fake illnesses?
Do any of you remember a previous drama where the main actress was selling bimbap or something similar in the street? I just can't remember which drama it was....not recent....

I remember the street selling as well but cant remember which show--maybe Sabby in YAMD or Obok in Happiness in the Wind??? Poodlepal, you know we have a long wait until the "revenge" begins--maybe the next to last episode.

I guess if XNun would use her cell phone to TJ confessing, the show wouldnt be 100 episodes--but it is so frustrating!!!

I think you are probably right about those two dramas, dodgerman....thanks....I'm sort of picturing Yoona from YAMD but maybe that's because I have seen her in another drama, Love Rain....

Seonyu sometimes seems so clever and others absolutely clueless. So she knew the young girls from the nunnery got their jobs at an L subsidiary restaurant through Jiseok - to get a job someone needs a bit of pull I would think. But knowing that as well as knowing Taejeong works at L Foods doesn't ring any bells for her....like they know each other...duh.....
I think I feel the most sorry for Jihui - she really seems to love Taejeong - he is a good con man. In the flashback scenes we saw a while back with him, Seonyu in high school and the sister he was so loving and charming.....Now we see his really nasty side and Jihui will undoubtedly see it eventually - she seems like a good person so I feel bad.
Everyone in this drama is telling lies about one thing or another - it's never-ending -except for Wuhyeon....my fave...

Again there she goes, following that guy into a dark garage...come on, use your brain, Seonyu (ep 30)
And new characters....the aunt's sister, twice divorced...been there, did that....and a smart kid....

Following the guy into the dark garage is like entering a creepy house in a horror movie---no good can come of it. At least Dopey Deulim from the last one missed her interview because her BF was sick. Another twice divorced sister with a wise mouthed kid. What about the brother?? son?? whose room is it--when will he pop up??? Anything to draw the show out to make 100 episodes.

Hmm. Sounds like there are some interesting developments. I'm lying low due to figure skating on IceNetwork and it's the end of another marking period. I would give this a B or B+ so far. Of course, grades and ratings are so inflated today (every book gets 5 stars on Amazon. Isn't it amazing?) that's like a failing grade.

Very interesting and I thought the North Koreans were using having to watch the TV novels as a form of tortures!!!
