Not that anyone has time for this but fyi - I discovered that the Chinese tv channel, New Tang Dynasty TV, seems to have kdramas on at 8 pm during the week. Currently it is showing Kim So Roo - it's dubbed in Chinese but it has English subtitles. It happens to have an actor I really like in it - Ji Sung - and there's Go Joo Won from Bizarre Bunch and Famous Princesses.....it's over halfway through, though. [It's also available on dramafever.com.....] english.ntdtv.com/ntdtv_en/sch_us.html#NewYorkThis channel is actually a subchannel of our WMBC - 63.5 - if you watch it over the airwaves and it's available on Verizon FIOS and Time Warner...

Thanks for the info, Mara, it's so unfortunate at times that I have cablevision and it gets suckier by the minute. They have another Sinovision station but no e-subs, and the shows look exciting too.

Linda, but you can get KBS America on Cablevision, right?

I think it's that additional package that cost $15 more per month and I still haven't called them yet to get some information on it.

My cable - Verizon FIOS - doesn't have KBS America - it has SBS, I think - it used to have MBC but it seems to have been dropped and as far as I know it costs about $30 a month - definitely not worth it - if I could get KBS for $15 I might spring for it.... ;-) Plus maybe you can ask for a free trial period - you need to find out if the dramas have esubs.....

Yes, when I call them I'll definitely ask about esubbing and a free trial; the latter would be awesome.
Aww, Latina, I'm not sure I'm going to add it to my current package. I pay roughly $170 a month already, so $15 more for me would be steep.

wow, Linda for me that is a lot for cable, I pay basic cable $12.59 hahahaha, we don't have time to watch TV during the day, just from 9:00 to 10:00, and my husband when comes from work he watchs around an hour. The kids likes the same thing so they watch videos. Maybe We'll up grade to family package next year when my youngest son goes to school...

I have one of those triple plays with Verizon FIOS - TV, telephone and internet.....it costs $100 but with tax etc it's another $30. I don't get any of the premium stations like HBO et al but compared to what I paid before with another company it's a better deal, at least for now....

My husband wanted FIOS, but I hear from some people that they changes to other providers because of the problems with the conection. Because we make international calls this package is not good at all for us

latina, I make international calls with skype on my computer - it costs a few cents a minute and if the other person has skype, it's free! You can also put skype on some cell phones - I know my sister has it on her Iphone.....

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I have triple play so that's why it comes up to that. One of the reasons the family got Cablevision is because it shows the News from Jamaica on Sundays; no other cable company we asked has that. But the News is about a month old anyway lol.
