Well, I guess like all the dramas, need to give sometimes to like it, I agree with you, I did not like it much yet, I do miss High Kick - grandma, yunho, ms seo a lot.

From browsing I found a couple spoilers. We have to wait til episode 127 for Anna to find out that the older couple are her parents. Kim Jun is Carl's real father. He and Anna got together when he went to the States or something like that.
From the comments I read, a lot of people complained that this show is very repititious, has too many twists and turns and then the ending is rushed.

r u sure, I remember when I did it to CJK, somebody complain about my action...... The CJK (California) Board, as far as I recall, did not have a separate topic for spoilers - they just covered them with a type of invisible writing thingie if they were spoilers. Also on that board there were people watching on different tv stations in different parts of the country and some were quite a bit ahead of others.....

I cheated and read the last page of the CJK discussion. It looks like this is a retread of Jolly Widows--a rich guy who (may or may not have amnesia--not sure about that) has to decide between his current, rich wife and the mother of his older child. You can probably guess who that guy is--they gave it away with that harmonica.
Also, the slow mother seems to get another boyfriend at the end! So I guess she does know what she's doing, romance wise. Also, a character who seems just sort of annoying actually turns bad, like the brother in Likable or Not. I'm not sure what he does, though, but he goes to jail.

I'm not sure of all the names. I think Saewa and Dijon(?) the pointy-haired rich boy actually go bad in a criminal way. The broadcast guy known as Kim Jun or James has to decide between Anna and his wife--very similar to Jolly Widow's scenario, and I believe he makes the same decision as the amnesiac in that show and stays with the wife. As far as I could tell, the ending was happy, with the bad ones getting what they deserve, Anna getting another boyfriend (I guess similar to cartoon guy in JW), and no surprise here--Bongi and Carl happily married.
It seems like in regular K dramas, most of them are sad and mopey but end happily--the transplant works, someone's having twins, the unfit mother takes off, the shallow turn good. In High Kick dramas, the shows are light and silly, but end with a tragedy. I am watching High Kick 2 on mysoju, and it seems really good. But I know the ending of that, and I'm not sure I want to continue. In this case, they kill off the two main characters in a car crash, and they're really dead, not faking it like Yumi.
Fortunately, as far as I could tell, nothing like that happens here on Smile Again.

Thanks, poodlepal. I call him everything from Lt. Bak to Dojo. It's going to be interesting to see what DJ does to land in prison and I can't believe it's going to come down to Kim Jun having to choose!!!! I didn't watch all of JW, in fact, my cousin and I stopped watching after one of the guys chose his fiance's cousin to marry instead of the fiance.

Wow, you didn't get too far with JW, did you, lol I think that happened pretty early on. Anyway, it got beyond mopey, when the amnesiac had to choose between the old wife and the new wife. It took forever for him to make a decision. The dumped cousin got a better man, and the first fiance was a bit of an idiot, as was his wife.
