Watched episode # 1. It looks very interesting and a lot of familiar people.

Yes, there are only so many actors in Korea evidently...lol...and the younger men go into the army... I like this but find it confusing so far as to the relationship between the Chief of Staff and the woman he spent the night with. I guess she's not his wife and she works for another representative or whatever they are...I'll figure it out as we go along.
So I guess Netflix is working okay for you...excellent!

Netflix is cool. I think we see the same actors and actresses all the time for two reasons. One is a smaller talent pool than here. The second is the dramas are only 20 episodes at the most which is 20 weeks so an actor can be n 3 different shows each year unlike here where each season is 22 episodes and then the same people come back in the same roles year after year.

And the secondary role actors can be in twice as many and they do movies as well....some of their CVs are amazing!
The only problem with Netflix is that they don't seem to have a separate listing for Korean, just Asian dramas. I will go through it some more when I have a chance.....

I like the political drama. I hope the CoS doesn't betray his girlfriend.

Yes, I like them a lot as well.....and agree with you....she is very idealistic and really wants to help her constituents and all the higher up legislators except for that one whose sign fell down seem horrible!

I like the political in fighting. It is funny that Mr. Song tells Tae jun that the thorn in his side is Ms. Kang and to get rid of her and Mr. Jo tells Ms. Kang that all of his problems are caused by Tae jun.

Yes, this is really interesting and great actors as well....the other chief of staff in Song's office, Oh WonSik is so nasty! He usually plays that type of role, I think...

This has become very depressing (Episode 8) - it looks like the Assemblyman killed himself....can't see any way this will end happily.....but it is good!

two more to go and it looks grim. Cannot believe Tae Jun was not smart enough to accumulate evidence about Mr. Song's corrupt dealings.

I read on soompi that there is a season 2 that is coming out in November...at least in Korea, don't know about Netflix....

If there is a season 2, that means nothing will be resolved in the last episode. My one problem with this show is that I do not like any of the main characters.

Well, most of them are not likable since they are politicians, I guess...lol...all scheming one thing or another. I like the intern and Secretary Yun and also the Assemblywoman. But as actors most are good...
I also read that Viki has purchased a lot of the DF dramas - don't know if we have seen them or not - I guess we'll find out as time goes on.
