Saw the first 4. Did not see the twist coming of the death row guy ending up as the dead detective. Last we had seen him, he was getting killed in the solitary cell. When he breaks out of prison the first time and steals the car with the dead body, how did he know how to drive??? He went into prison when he was about 15 years old. I liked the track and field day in the prison. It is really hard to run in swim fins. I wore them when we were at the Great barrier Reef and kept tripping over them. The lifeguard told me to walk into the water backwards and that helped

lol...funny that you had the experience of walking with swim fins....yes, the track and field in the prison was pretty funny.
This seems interesting - it did seem like he was getting beat up in the solitary cell - I guess we'll find out more....and a lot of familiar faces as usual....I wonder what happened to the detective who trained him and disappeared....

Episode 4 & 5--- Death Row guy is the biggest Korean actor that we have seen. How did the killer get his unconscious body up the sides of the solitary cell and out of the prison??? Why does he ever fight back against the 2 evil henchmen??? He is way bigger than they are.

Episodes 9 & 10----Chul Ji was a cop and he couldn't tell that someone was following at night on those deserted streets??? Death Row Guy is so much bigger than those 2 henchmen but they keep beating him up. Doesn't know how to fight back?

his friend had to die because now they can't threaten to kill him and make DeathRow Guy do anything dirty. Hopefully it will make the story line move faster since we are almost half way done

That makes sense....I just can't figure out if the cop who be-friended him as a kid is a good guy or not....

15-16---Half way done. I hope KJS/OIS is finished being a sap and starts to become more aggressive. He is so concerned about stupid Ddak JI who really ruined his entire life. He was caught going back to the girls's balcony to get Ddak's half watermelon. He broke out of jail to protect Ddak's sister and that is what started this whole mess with the dead cop in the trunk. He gets beaten up trying to stop the thugs from hurting poor little Ddak. I think the cop who rescued him was good, then turned bad but has issues.

Yes, that is one way to look at it....I don't really like to blame others - I think everyone makes their own choices....plus in Kdrama they often take the blame when they are blameless...lol....
The dead cop in the trunk was sort of bad luck - he wasn't involved in the beginning, right...? He just often is in the wrong place at the wrong time...
Also there are forty episodes so not half way done for two more days to be specific...;-)
Yes, I agree about the cop...basically good...

Oh dear it looks like Chul Gi might have killed the JG Cop's dad....oy....so that little kid is his son but he left before he was born it seems and never got in touch with his ex-wife or partner all that time...

Episode 19, 20---In every cop show that we have seen, the cops never take off their coats. Lt, Jin & Officer Oh wear their coats in their office, when they are questioning a witness, when they are eating Papa John's pizza, etc. Is there no heat inside buildings in Korea?

It's not just cops - families sometimes sit at dinner with coats and folks go to sleep in their clothes....strange....;-) Or maybe it's a way to save on the costume budget?

This is getting even more complicated and interesting.
Chairperson Gook thought she was YoungMin's mom all this time and even got her job with Manager Lee to be near him...and he's not her son...or is he? lol....
And JinYoung destroyed the evidence that showed JongSam's innocence in the murder for which he was framed....
I like how the police Lt. Park SooChil looks at his wife/partner ChaKyung - such a different expression from when he is being in charge of his squad....
So many familiar faces in the cast makes me happy. ;-)

I actually was thinking that King JongSam was Manager Lee's son....don't really know how it fits in with the rest of the plot yet though....so many twists and turns in this one keeps it interesting...

I finished it. AS usual, it was too long. I liked the convict posing as a cop and you know they won't catch the evil corrupt people until the last episode . I could have done without finding out the convict was the son of the evil guy. That was pointless other than to add 8 episodes. How could the girl cop visit him when he got out of prison and not bring him some tofu? What "serious" drama is next? Judge vs Judge, Falsify/Distorted, 2 Cops?
