Ha ha!! I like that nickname for him. Ah, I missed Thursday's episode, but tonight's irritated me because of Haemi. That character will never learn a lesson because she can't see how wrong she is. I could never deal with people like that lol. I plan on boycotting any episode that'll be centered around her or changing the channel when she's on, or something or I'll go mad lol.

I agree Linda. The eps that center around haemi, her fat slob husband or the Mother are awful. If they just did the triangle of Mr Lee, his ex & dopey Ms Seo & the one with Yumi and the two brthers it would be so much better. My favorite is the Vice Principal in the school with his sarcastic comments.

at the beginnig I thought this drama would be like a Korean 92010, center on the boys at high school, but I see that is not the case...

Well, I feel sorry for Haemi - to me she is the main support of the family - it was her idea to open up the clinic which bears the name of her FIL - her husband doesn't seem to work and the teacher BIL seems pretty useless.....and she still seems to do a lot of housework as stay-at-home DILs do.....so I can see why she feels she needs to assert herself as she does not seem to get credit for her abilities....y'all can yell at me now.... ;-)
Yes, dodgerman, I agree about the school principal...he's funny!

I like the principal too, Dodgerman! The actor does a very good job.
Ha ha, Mara, what I got though is that Haemi has always been the way she is. In the flashbacks of how she met her husband, she seemed like the hoity-toity, vindictive type who had to win at or be on top of everything. Maybe I read too much into that episode lol.

Linda, I don't disagree that she is somewhat hoity-toity....but I don't know about vindictive.....I remember the flashback scene where her husband was in a room across an alley looking at her.....and then her current boyfriend dumped her....I'm guessing that's what you mean....

Maybe vindictive was too strong a word there, lol!

I felt bad for fat son, and Yuhno last night. Miss Seo got her money back without contacting her, or mention the word money, lol....

I thought this ep was awful. The doc's wife is so irritating I cant watch her . The best thing about the ep was the commercial for the rice cookers!!!

And last night I felt sorry for the other son who wore the elevator shoes to impress Yumi's friends.....

dodgerman, and mara, lol. I have to confess that I laughed last night when papa smurf was playing with the kids, it reminds me my own father when we played monopoly.

Yes, I have to admit that as much as I was unhappy when this show first started I am now at the point where I am laughing out loud often....very embarrassing, I must say...thank goodness only my cat is here to know.... ;-)

In the usual K dramas I've seen, each episode starts where the last one ended . In High Kick, the episodes have nothing to do with each other. You could miss a week's worth of HK's eps and pick it up exactly where it was--the fat bro eating, Miss Seo falling down, Minyeong mooning over the cute girl, the Mom being irritating etc.

Yes, I agree, dodgerman - unlike previous kdramas I skip watching this one a couple of nights a week now because of other shows I like better - but I do watch them online at dramafever and I often feel like I am confused and watching the wrong episode when I am not as there doesn't seem to be any continuity.....I'm glad you brought that up - it's not me who's confused....it's the drama....
