Pinocchio and Healer are pretty good in my opinion. The King's face is not bad but you have to follow the story line. It's got good action.
I would skip Birth of a Beauty though-it was good for about the first 12 episodes but dragged the rest of the way.

btw, I watched the Dramafever Awards on DF....and for the first time realized that DF besides the various serial dramas also has movies - I realized this as the one that won the DF award stars Alien Boy...I started watching it last night - it is one episode but quite long more than two hours - I only watched about half an hour. In case anyone is interested it's called: Secretly Greatly: asianwiki.com/Secretly_Greatly

I saw a couple of movies on DF--one was with Lee Min Jung where she plays a washed up KPop star who is now a talk show radio host and I saw one called 19 with TOP about 3 kids who are framed for murder

dodgerman, check out Secretly, Greatly when you get time - after watching the first half hour or so, you certainly see another side of Alien Boy....lol...
I'll check out your recommendations as well....

madman999, are you still out there? I was just trying to use dramania and it kept giving me an error message. I checked their twitter feed and there seem to be problems for quite some time now. Have you used it lately? Any ideas? Thanks, I am getting ready to leave the country for Japan soon and wanted to d/l a few episodes to finish what I am watching now......

I think they are about to change servers again so the first 2 options are dead. I was able to download using the 3rd one. Easyvideo

By the way, just got back from China and Japan trip this week. Visit the Akihibara area in Tokyo Cool, madman999! Don't mean to be nosy - feel free not to answer....your first trip or do you often travel there? I will be making my tenth or maybe eleventh trip to Japan in about ten days....that's why I was trying to d/l Healer - I actually just d/l'ed the torrents for the last five eps - since dodgerman and I are on a schedule and I wouldn't really have time to watch the eps before I left anyway - I will try dramania another day. And btw, does dramania work in Asia?

2nd trip to Japan and China for Skiing. First time was to Niseko and Shanghai. This time, Nagano, Tokyo and less than 24 hours in Hong Kong.
I tried to use Dramania, DramaFever and Viki in Japan and China but all the servers were blocked. Viki had limited content accessible.

Sounds like fun! I haven't been to China at all and not to Niseko or Nagano - I'm not a skier...
I knew that DF was not available in Japan, wasn't sure about Dramania or Viki....so thanks for the heads up. Right now I am d/l ing the last ten episodes of Pinocchio from torrents - that's much faster than using Dramania. And I have a mini laptop so can watch that way or even on the tablet with my way to go connector....

The airline I flew was Cathay Pacific. The seat DVR had several Korean movies with English subtitles. Watched Tazza the hidden card(with Shin Se Kyung of High Kick 2), The Big Match(with some Korean UFC fighter) and some other rom Com with Shin Mina(ariang and the magistrate).
They had some TV series as well(Hotel King and My Lovely Girl) but only Chinese subtitles.

That's the fun of flying non US airlines....I flew Japan Airlines for the first time last year and saw four Japanese movies with Esubs....there are also Kdramas on Japan tv but I never figured out the schedule. Of course while in Japan I should try to watch more Japanese dramas than Korean...lol....

Some dramas I am watching now that you all might like and available on DramaFever or on the Dramania app for download on to you android tablet. I usually go for more atypical dramas with usually strong women characters. I kind of hate the ones that make the women a little more than just damsels in distress.
Unkind Women-end of episode 1, the grandma delivers a full karate kick to her rival! Tells you its going to be a little off the wall. Sensory Couple-decent chemistry between the leads Shin Se Kyung and Mickey Yoon Chun. Angry Mom-sort of parallels the Korean ferry disaster from last year. Kim Hee Sun as a mom disguised as a high school student. Missing Noir M-pretty engaging and intelligent police mystery drama. Each case has a atypical twist to it. Let's Eat 2-you should watch the first season as well. Off the wall humor. Falling in Love with Soon Jung-it's a love square/corporate takeover and usual shenanigans but pretty good thus far.
