Autumn in My Heart, Winter Sonata, Summer Scent and Spring Waltz Yes, Mara I saw all of them...lol...a long time ago. From what I remember is that they are all melo dramas so have tissues next to you... :0). They were the classic dramas from that time and were good. grace, I really like Autumn in My Heart - haven't got far enough to need my tissue box. Last night I finally realized that the housekeeping supervisor at the hotel looked quite familiar - you might not remember of course - but she was in TV Novels Dear My Sister and Samsaengi as well as Mom Got Horns which we saw quite a few years back on WMBC and other dramas I have seen online.....she really looks different in this...of course it is eight years before the earliest drama I saw her in... wiki.d-addicts.com/Kim_Na_Woon

It seems the same actors and actress are recycled in all of them, espeically the older grannys and granpas.

Haven't seen Golden Rainbow but did see F of G....I did like it but actually just a quick read of GR's asiawiki and the trailer makes it sound pretty interesting.....
F of G has the usual plot of mixed up siblings and triangle love affairs.....and a lot of cooking - I watch at night before I go to sleep and really got hungry watching it.....actors are good.....so six of one and half dozen of another - they both seem to be quite long....F o G was 32....Golden Rainbow is still airing I think - asianwiki says 50 episodes and dramafever says 30.....

Thanks, I think I will go with FoG and they maybe GR or Faith. I saw that GR was still airing and DF does not have all the episodes but it seemed that goodrama does have 30.

Well, I just finished Autumn in My Heart, the first of the four famous dramas - Endless Love - all directed by Yoon Seokho - he also directed Love Rain. It is from 2000 so a little after our weekend drama - I think it is very well done and holds up today. The next one in the series is Winter Sonata and Chanwoo from First Love stars in that so I will start watching soon. As grace said above, you do need your tissue box at the end....

I just finished episode 8 of Feast of Gods and I am enjoying it. One thing that I noticed, the girl chef from the poor town comes to Seoul and in 4 episodes she has worn 4 different winter jackets.

In a lot of the modern dramas they all seem to have pretty small closets but never wear the same clothes twice.... Glad you are enjoying F of G!

I am enjoyinf Feast of Gods.. Usual modern kdarma--cell phones, cute good girl, real pretty bad girl, short skirts and the ever popular korean game show Who does this child really belong to?? I thought I recognize the good girl's best friend with the huge pink glasses--it is the "twin" that becomes a star from the TV novel with Art girl.

dodgerman, it took me quite a while to figure out who she was - I knew she looked so familiar.....
I just finished Winter Sonata - the second in the quartet - it was excellent imo. And now since I have fallen for Bae YongJun, who also played ChanWoo in First Love, I have started watched Hotelier - another oldish drama - actually from 2001....there is another Japanese version but I am watching the kdrama one.

I have a question about Feast of Gods. The "bad girl" who is the "daughter" of the Master Chef and the guy she was dating both call the old lady master teacher Grandma. The old lady says that the boy is her grandson. I thought that the Master Chef was her daughter. How could they have been dating?

dodgerman - I didn't think that the Master Chef was the daughter of the old lady, former Master Chef.....I think that both of the young girls called her grandma out of respect....not that she was their actual granny.....

I am half way through Feast of the Gods. As usual by now the "good" girl has fallen in love but dumps the guy who loves her as well so other people will be happy even though she will be miserable. Cant they come up with better ideas???
