I didn't get why Dandan and the young cute general didn't return the Prince after the fighting was over....? And exactly how is Dandan going to feed the prince without a wet nurse.....

It's to give a reason for Hae Geon's ridiculous plan to work lol. I find this to be a really awful and weird drama.

Omg...I don't know what's going on anymore. I agree with you, how Hae geon is still alive?, how nobody knows what he did?, why Yeomin before die, didn't say anything about Hae geon been inolved on the rebelletion?. I missed Saturday episode, but still I think there is many questions about the whole plot.

Surprised to read many of you really dislike this series, Geunchogo.
I expected it not to be as well received as Gwanggaeto though, for all the problems that one had, as I mentioned before Geunchogo started - while you all were waiting for this to start - Gwanggaeto, for all its flaws, was rather entertaining, by Historical drama standards... well, before the filler disaster in the last 30% of the series where it went nowhere.
KG is a good series, lots of rewarding aspects, more historically accurate, good acting, but it's not without its flaws and I agree with several of you who find all this played up drama, as not necessarily interesting to watch. The women storylines... got very tiring for me with all the back and forth palace-like internal strife, a la MBC period dramas. I got tired of the two women by series end and all the succession fight drama (common to historicals LOL). But I didn't care much for either of them as characters.
I particularly like the antagonists though, King Gogukwon especially - Lee Jong Won brings immense talent to this role, and I also liked Ahn Jae Mo and Lee Ji Hoon's performances.
The actor who plays Geunchogo is a very good one, but this character and actor comes off fairly dry with not as much charisma or charm as the previous series you all watched.
Overall, I liked this series and was glad I stuck with it. It isn't something that I've returned to since it ended over a year and half ago or one that will be forever entrenched in my mind for years to come, but it was better than the usual K-Drama or historical/period drama offerings at the time.

Yeogu is cut and dry, he's either overly serious or overly happy and we rarely see the latter. He's very boring as a lead, he was better the first few episodes but now he's monotonous.

Yeogu is very robotic in his expressions. R2D2 has more facial expression when he speaks !!!

It must have been gtreat to live in baekje--15 years go by and no one other than the 3 boys & Yeowha's Mom got any older. This episode was soooooo sloooow--it was like watching paint dry.

This episode was soooooo sloooow--it was like watching paint dry. lol, dodgerman, I was thinking the same thing - they all looked the same except for those 4 and 3 of them were barely born in the last episode. Quite a time jump for sure - and it's nice to see all the young cuties....lol... So this is having a similar plot to our weekday drama - when will the real parents know their real children?

Yes, latina, I don't understand that either and no one recognized her 'husband' - wasn't he a general....?
I liked when Yeogu told his son to say hello to his dying uncle....lol....what was the point of that?

The ex-general was not in uniform therefore there's no way they would recognise him, even though all the years he served he never had his face covered LOL
