Personally, I have 3 and a half, lol. The Infamous Chil Sisters, Mom's Dead Upset, Dae Jo Young, and The Road Home is the half.
I was hoping we'd get another drama with Tae Ran Lee/Seochil soon after Iron Puppet ;D ended because I had heard one was in production but Three Brothers came on instead. It's not half bad but, as we've said in the thread, it's most everything we've seen already.

The only shows that I liked that were aired on TV were the Chill Sisters and Mom's Dead Upset. But the shows that I thought that were great that I got from the Video Club or watched on mysoju.com were: Lovers, First Love, Kim Sam Soon, Dal Ja's Spring, Ruler of Your Own World, Country Princess....I guess there were many !!!

I haven't see that many but my favorite was Chill Sisters and DJY. I start to watch others on line (Emperor of the Sea, Cave of the Winds - I like historicals) but never seem to get all the way to the end. It's easier for me, at the end of the day, to settle in front of the TV with a snack and chill in Koreandramaland.

I've had MBC America free for the past six months but it will end this weekend as I have no intention of paying $25 a month for it......but I have seen a few dramas that I liked that are also available at dramafever.com - Great Queen Seonduk, Assorted Gems which is ongoing.......for some reason these which happen to be produced by MBC seem a drop less formulaic that the ones I have seen on WMBC NJ which are all from KBS. I agree the KBS weekend dramas that I have seen like Chil Sisters, Mom's Dead Upset, DJY and one of the first I saw Thank You Life (which I loved and recently copied from VHS to DVD and cried my eyes out all over again....) seem to have more to them than the weekday dramas. But I watch them anyway and never miss an episode if I can help it. I haven't seen the ones you mentioned door but I heard they were good.

I so need to get high speed internet. Trying to watch videos online with dial-up just doesn't work out. I'm going to check on netflix for some of the names mentioned and hope they have them, thanks everyone.

brooklyn, brooklyn, brooklyn! Leap out of the dark ages! It's not that expensive and sooo worth while.
I'm a bit of a dinosaur and it took me a long time to get with the program (it took me a long time to buy a microwave, too. Duh.) But now that I have hi-speed, etc, I don't know how I ever lived without it.

I also started with dial-up as the cable company in my apartment complex (Time Warner) at the time didn't offer internet service. When another co. (RCN) came in, I switched over and got high speed - I now have Verizon FIOS. When I had dial-up I had a separate phone line so it turned out not to be that expensive as I was able to cancel the extra phone line....just my experience, of course....

The Philly Board has a Video Club and you can actually rent Korean DVD's. You just pay an anual fee, and the cost of return shipping. They have quite a selection, and they are very good about sending you the DVD's you request.

I believe the videos were all bought or donated -- they are very good quality. And Theresa and Debby do a great job running it !
