This show is very uneven. Some subplots are way better than others. Three episodes stand out: the one where the boys start the fire, the one with the Caucasian European couple (they were speaking English, but had some sort of accent, at least she did) and last night's, when Rudolph and Santa went at it over stocks and bonds. The episodes that are the weakest are ones about digestive problems (seem to be less common), anything about that farfetched murder and now jailbreak, and the suggsted attraction between Miss Seo and long-haired brother. That last one kind of skeeves me, actually. Miss Seo is the type that would have an affair with a kid--she's such a romantic dreamer. I also love the principal--he's hysterical.

I agree with all of you about the show being uneven like the writers have separate meetings and just throw in everyone's idea along the way.
Granny's hospitality towards her convict friend was just ridiculous tonight. I want to stop watching, but with how spontaneous the plot is, I don't want to miss a good episode. It's frustrating, lol.

There is no continuity from one ep to the next. How much longer can they string out the Ms Seo, Ex Wife & Minyeong plot line?? The Mom is a moron and the fat farting son is a slob. This is the first Kshow that I do not tape if I miss an ep. I really dont care.

I thought it was sweet tonight the way the father and his two sons bonded and they were able to coordinate to bring Granny back home..... Also I thought the Doctor father and his son on the fishing trip were funny as well - when he said he could do everything better with his feet. I think this stupid show has gotten to me....it's pathetic!

I loved that three bears song! But why was Granny living with those tough people? Who were they, anyway? I hop e they add them to the cast, they were funny.
What order would you put the daily shows we've seen on channel 63 from Newton? I would say: 1. Pure in Heart 2. Bizarre Bunch part 2 (I didn't see the first 90 episodes or so), 3. Likable or Not 4. High Kick (so far) 5.High/Sky 6. Jolly Widows idows 7. Happiness in the Wind 8. Road Home 9. You Are My Destiny. Numbers 6-9 got very sad and sappy--well, so did the others, but it was especially bad with those 4. So I'm liking this show. The good episodes are very funny and the bad ones ar at least differnt.

latina - I liked the 3 Bears.... poodlepal - I started watching shortly after the start of Bizarre Bunch - I will have to think about my preference - after all you're talking about quite a few years now....plus the major themes are more or less the same and I've really forgotten which is which - the weekend dramas stick out in my mind much more - besides the historicals, that is....let me think on it - I'll get back to you.....maybe this goes on another thread..... Those people are granny's family - one of them, at least, is her brother - she called him oppa on the phone.....

I face palmed through most of yesterday's and tonight's episodes. We have like 129 or so left to go, hopefully more good than weird epi's left.
I thought the pep talk fat son gave to his boys up in Divorced son's room was to cheer them all on to help around the house; not to go get granny back. That was something else lol. In tonight's epi, looks like Divorced son is finally seeing Ms. Seo in a different light.

What a stupid plot--nobody is that hungry all the time. I missed Thursday's show but It doesnt matter what order they show these shows in-there is so little continuity. Out of the 37 eps, I have enjoyed maybe 5. It is going to be a looooong haul until the end.

Poodlepal, I am trying to come up with my list of Kdramas. I started with Pure in Heart(the one about Gukwa?? the country girl). i saw the last 30 eps of the next one which was about the son in law who embezzles from his FIl's company while the FIL is in a come--I dont remember the name of that one. Iam thinking on the rest

HAHAHA latina!!!!!!!!!! I hate the close-ups they give fat son when he's eating. Those close up were disgusting... lol dodgerman, I think that you talking about "the road home", were the father was a doctor and they had a hospital, and his son got the hospital financially on trouble while his father was in a coma. I can't remember very well the k-drama names but I will list number one The Road Home, and the one about the girl been a kitchen designer..., I cann't remember the plot,
