Lol, Mara, my mother said she couldn't even stoop in her minis. I never understood wearing or making clothes that short with all the perverted men in the world.
I skipped ahead to episode 6 already lol, I was bored too, but I like the modern day part now.

I also am ahead with this drama - up to the modern period beginning - I think that Jang KeunSuk - In Ha - is cuter in his modern look....it does seem to be more interesting now.... And in general the scenery has been good the whole time - I liked the East Sea part....

They're ill-fated? I don't need another show that doesn't have a happy ending.

I don't know that this doesn't have a happy ending - it is the couple from the 1970's, I think, that is ill-fated - I don't know about the modern one...but the drama I just finished with a happy ending is Personal Taste - have you seen that? eastnewyorker.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=othershows&action=display&thread=66

Mara, I'm watching Me Too Flower on dramacrazy. I got onto it because it stars the girl who was in ATHENA. It seems very cute and light and in the present--cell phones, modern hip clothes, no repressive government. Definitely liked it better after one episode than Love Rain.

I like In ha's eyes and Hongran's son doesn't look as bad as I thought he would in modern clothes, lol.

OMG..Joon's voice and face in the present...I have found a replacement for Lee Min Ho lmao. I really like this, young love, and even though Joon is such a jerk towards Ha Na, I would like to see them have the love either of their parents didn't have the chance to.

I skipped to ep 6 and at least it is a little perkier in the present but it still is the longing gazes and heavy sighs.

Yep, that's the one. He looks so much better here, almost unrecognizable, but his smile gave him away.

I absolutely love this, I could do without the older versions of In Ha and Yoon Hee though, they're in the way. I am seriously captivated by Jang Geun Suk's voice though...
