Usually these kdramas end with everyone being happy and upbeat. I cannot figure out how that is going to happen ion this one with everyone being so miserable. if Psycho TB gets off the hook with the law, he will be the only happy one because he has the girl of his dreams.

I agree Dodgerman, I can't see a happy ending coming, it's also taking a long time for Seunga to get humbled.

I am surprised that veteran watchers of K-dramas can not see a happy ending.. have you not noticed the ArtLady has some health issues and who else but the ArtGirl with her O type blood will play her part in saving her life. In the recent past one of the main characters of a k-drama(Was it "Smile Again"- it is a k-drama about Hotel industry) goes to jail for a short while and returns reformed. That is my 2 cents.
By the way, you want to see a non pouting animated Seunga face, you just get her to Noggy presence. She is all over him short of drooling... lol..

lol sara79, yes that was my prediction a few post ago, Myeongju is so sick that Seunghui will have to give her some of her negative type O blood... Did I miss something last night? , when did Seunga told Myeongju that she is Hong Seunga? , and Why? ?. Taebeom running from Noggy looks like a High Kick episode....hahahaha

I cant believe they cut the scene with Seunga telliong DyeLady who is really is but left in the scenes with Western Doc and his pathetic wife. Why does everyone feels sorry for Psycho TB & blame Noggy??? TB is a crook and Noggy is only doing his job. he didnt go after TB

On tonight's episode.
Myongju: I know I had a baby with Yunsik and it died. Palja: It didn't die, I gave it to Yunsik. Yangja: I know that a baby was given to you that died. Coincidentally, an orphan just turned up one day that has no relationship to you or this baby that's now dead. Yunsik: The baby didn't die. But Myongju rejected the baby and wouldn't let me show her a picture of her one day when I was deranged and felt like telling the truth. Poodlepal: The truth? What were you thinking? Who would ever do that? Myongju: Who's that white lady and how did she get in the scene? Anyway, I can't bear talking about my baby she's dead. Excuse me, my dye pot is about to boil over.
Palja: What will we do? It's only a matter of time before Myongju realizes that Hong Seunhgui is her baby.
Yangja: Hong Seunghui? I thought maybe Kim Seunghui or Park Seunghui, but Hong Seunghui is her daughter? We can't tell her that. I know. We'll tell her Seunghui is dead. That way she will have a dead baby. She'll feel better then.
Poodlepal: Are you sure that makes sense?
Granny: What language are you speaking? Anyway, that makes the most sense, we all agree.
Myeongju: Whew, that was close. Why is everyone crying?
Palja: Oh, Myeongju, Hong Seunghui is your daughter. And she's dead.
Myongju: No! No! No! (Cries hysterically)
Knock on the door
M:I'll get it.
Seunghui: Ajumma, I came to borrow a cup of dye.
Gasp. Dramatic music.

lol, poodlepal....
So finally Myeongju knows.....
And the preview was showing Seunghui running away with Taebeom.....oy.....not too clever - can't imagine her really doing that......hopefully it's not so.
Well, I don't have children but for Yangja - she raised Seunghui as her adopted child for 20 years - is it realistic for her to lose her love for her after finding out the truth of her birth?

poodlepal, lol
mara, I was thinking about that last night, and as Yangja told Seughui that she knows that Seunghui didn't say anything because she was thinking about her.
But I think that Yangja still loves Seunghui, but for her it is difficult for now related to her as mom and daughter knowing that her husband favorite her all the time for been her real daughter and not just because it was a child without mom.
mara I was almost sure that Myeongju will spit blood last night when she was having a cup of te with Seunghui...

My guess for part of the ending. Psycho TB & ArtGirl run to The States. She becomes hugely successful making tie dyed t shirts. TB is electerd to Congress but is caught up by the FBI in the 1980 Abscam scandal.

Dodgerman, I wish that's what will happen!
On K-dramas, people have very odd reactions. Of course you would immediately stop loving your daughter if you found out that your husband was her father and not some stranger. The characters are very self-centered and rarely feel anything for anybody, except for the romantic leads who fall madly in love after a conversation or two.
Remember on one show (Happiness In the Wind, I think), the young male lead's biomom came back needing a transplant for his brother who had leukemia. Of course, once the boy's biomom came back on the scene he was required by Korean law to go live with her and completely reject the woman who had raised him for so many years. So his adoptive mother actually suggested that he NOT give the transplant, so that the kid would die. That way it would be fair: the adoptive family would lose a son (because, by being in contact with his biomom, he would never see the adopted family again) and the biomom would lose a son (because her little boy would die of leukemia). I mean, what type of person thinks like this?
Anyway, let's hope these are just tropes and not realistic portrayals of Korean families.

Oh boy - we are going to have an exciting last week of this.....Taebeom wants to escape to Japan...can't believe that Seunghui will go along with him? Myeongju passes out just as she is about to tell Nogyeong the truth....
I love the way Myeongju's mom and Yunsik blame themselves after all these years - too bad they didn't have second thoughts a bit earlier....

Mara, Mara, mara.... how do I explain to you .. if Myeongju's mom and HerbalDoc Yunsik had second thoughts we would have missed all the drama surrounding the 175 episodes of mayhem called "love, my love" !!!!... lol.
