Thanks, Latina, I saw the present year as 1969 though. The other Doctor with the brat daughter is Seol Doan, he looks a lot different from even when we saw him in Lee Hoe Young. It's going to be interesting for me to see him in a 'modern' drama . what? ?? the doctor is Seol Doan, I know that his brows looked familiar, but I don't think that I will guess that was him.

lol, door 60 - welcome back! Yes, the usual suspects - Seol Doan aka Kim Gyu Chui - with more hair.......and the woman who was getting his daughter ready for the party looks like the first or now the second wife of the new Eoraha on the weekend drama....the mother of the Crown Prince that was just deposed....and the Granny in every other drama - wow..... wiki.d-addicts.com/Kim_Young_Ok

They are going to miss her when she goes! I only watched some of King G was Seol Doan the bald guy the other tribes cheif? If so OMG...he looks so different. And I agree on leaving the pregnant girlfriend just because Mom says so at that age...but then again her family didn't seem to want him to marry her either something about them being responsible for the death of hers or his father? I guess the relationship was doomed to begin with but why treat your new wife with such disrespect? She was thrown into that relationship no fault of hers. I felt sorry for her.

To add to what Latina wrote (Oh my, 41 weeks?! O.O), I googled the 10 month vs. 9 month pregnancy and found out that both are right. A woman is pregnant for 9 calendar months, but 10 lunar months. Each month has days left over and when you go by trimesters, there are enough days left over to make an extra week. so every three month is roughly 13 weeks. Do not want, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

These dramas do not hide how whipped the men are when it comes to Momma, hahaha, and she must've threatened to kill herself countless of times before that when Yonsik first hooked up with whatsherface. I don't get why he'd give in now but then the plot wouldn't work.

Did not recognize Seol Din, wil have to check it out. I did recognize Granny & one of the "twins"--she was the congressman daughter in Sign which I just finished online. Already this is better than Dreary but I would like them to get back to present day dramas.

Why cant they get the ages right??? The opening scene is Granny's 60th bday party in 1969. The flashback is 1950, so she would be 41--she looked 60 there. They should have made her 70 in 1969 to make it more realistic.

The good twin reminds me of the annoying transfer girl that liked Yunhu in High Kick, the one that badly wanted to be his girlfriend and she was duncer than Yumi.
-I smell a triangle between the new guy and the twins, no doubt the evil one is going to try and steal the guy away. This has only ever happened in almost every Kdrama lol.

Ok, I'm totally confused. Whose grave was that - Park Yeongpyo? - and who was praying at it? Who died when the N. Koreans bombed the escaping refugees? Who's the woman with the picturesque hanbok-dyeing business?
