Everybody in my house talks like that now.) LOL!!!!! No, I'm not offended at all puppy. Oh gees, if only I could hear you say it lol. The one thing that used to get me was when I'd meet people who'd expect me to know every single Jamaican around the way, that's just crazy lol.

Chill Sisters, Mom's Dead Upset, Farewell to Tears, Dae Jo Young, Pure 19 (loved Yunhu) and Thankyou Life. I know I've missed a historical one from about 9 years ago but I forget the title.
It can only get better I think, the recent weekday drama's just seem to drag on forever.

I liked the Chill Sisters, Iron Empress, the others I don't remember, however I have a question about this "I agree the KBS weekend dramas that I have seen like Chil Sisters, Mom's Dead Upset, DJY and one of the first I saw Thank You Life (which I loved and recently copied from VHS to DVD and cried my eyes out all over again....) seem to have more to them than the weekday dramas." Thank You Life, I think That I watched 4 episode, long time ago, and them was over, I really would like to get it in a DVD, but I'm not sure if it is that want that I'm thinking about.

This is the one I was referring to, latina.....and welcome to the board - we are struggling here with one or two members who still post.......please join us! Are you watching on WMBC, Channel 63, in the NY/NJ area? wiki.d-addicts.com/Thank_You_LifeI am not sure if it is either available online - to view or download - or on DVD - have you done a search?

Yeap Mara, I'm still watching, Happiness in the Wind, and Three Brothes, ever the Korean concert on Saturday nights that is on at 8:00 p.m. I haven't research lately about Korean Drama in DVD, but I found out first they are kind of expensive(more the $200), or they don't have subtitlers in English, but I read about a group in Phillip that rent them.

I've never purchased any but I have looked online and yesasia seems to have reasonable prices as long as it is the type of DVD that can be played on US players and with esubs. Thank You Life didn't seem popular on the message boards I read for some reason - maybe the Philly board has it in their rental line-up, don't know.....

poodlepal said: What order would you put the daily shows we've seen on channel 63 from Newton? I would say: 1. Pure in Heart 2. Bizarre Bunch part 2 (I didn't see the first 90 episodes or so), 3. Likable or Not 4. High Kick (so far) 5.High/Sky 6. Jolly Widows idows 7. Happiness in the Wind 8. Road Home 9. You Are My Destiny. Numbers 6-9 got very sad and sappy--well, so did the others, but it was especially bad with those 4. So I'm liking this show. The good episodes are very funny and the bad ones ar at least differnt. dodgerman said: Poodlepal, I am trying to come up with my list of Kdramas. I started with Pure in Heart(the one about Gukwa?? the country girl). i saw the last 30 eps of the next one which was about the son in law who embezzles from his FIl's company while the FIL is in a come--I dont remember the name of that one. Iam thinking on the rest dodgerman - I'm pretty sure the one after PIH was As Much as Heaven and Earth/By Land and Sky..... wiki.d-addicts.com/By_Land_and_Sky - I don't remember the part about the FIL in a coma in that drama - I remember something like that in The Road Home, I think..... wiki.d-addicts.com/The_Road_Home

It sounds like we all pretty much started with Bizarre Bunch.....I hate to say but since BB there have been 8 week day dramas - I made a list a while back....they all pretty much run together in my mind - for one thing, they often have the same actors - the older generation and many of the same themes - rich boy, poor girl and vice versa, illness in which someone is saved by a person they hate ;-), usually some issue of a question of birth or adoption or abandonment...... To make a long story short I would have to do a lot more review to come out with my list. However, I have enjoyed the weekend ones both modern and historical much more for the most part - of course, they are usually shorter....
