Good job Poodlepal. I think there is either gold or money in the safe. As for dopey Bongi, that is why I hate the "good " girls in these kdramas. Sabby was willing to let Subin send her to Russia not to cause trouble. Obok left her husband so Miran could be with her son & now stupid Bongi. Give me the bad girls anytime. They all have backbone & at least fight(usually dirtily) for what they want.

There is nobody with any balance. Even a good girl in real life would get annoyed with her husband if he spent all his time at work, like Donghae seems to be doing. Even a good girl would want a honeymoon so that her husband could look soulfully in her eyes and consummate the marriage. The good girls in these dramas are selfless. They want nothing except to help others. It is annoying.

HAHAHAHAA, You were right , I thought that was a crazy idea of the gold, HAHAHAHA, not because on k-drama land anything can happen, but I thought that will be something shocking like he owns a island or something

Well, I was right about the gold bars.... And I guess Hyesuk gave her proxy or whatever it's called in Korea to Donghae as well as all the shares that were pledged to her last time to make her the majority shareholder so now Donghae will have the majority....plus his Gran's shares, I assume..... bye bye Dojin.....

HAHAHAHA. oh gees, Poodlepal, I lost count but I wouldn't be suprised if all the women are pregnant by the end.
I hope Carl knows what he's doing and doesn't fall flat on his face. I didn't get the convo in the car between him and Hyesuk, she asked Carl to help Dojin, or was it to stop him? Blah.

Lmao@poodlepal and you're exactly right about no balance. At the start the girls are overly opinionated and brash then by the end they are complete jellyfishes. I should also add that this goes for the good guys too.

I think it's some kind of brain hemorrhage - couldn't quite understand what the esub said....
Four more.....
Oh, I noticed that my TV's online tv guide is already showing the new drama on Monday - so I would think if anyone is DVRing this show they might have a problem....I don't have a DVR, thank goodness, just an old fashioned DVD recorder which I am able to program by the time...usually it takes weeks to get the correct name on the online guide....

I saw it online & the doctor did not say infarction but a mild stroke as the result of ischemia which is a constriction of the blood vessels.

I don't like where this drama is going. It has a bad message--what they call a "broken Aesop" on television tropes web page (if you're not familiar, check it out--they have a page for High Kick!)
Anyway, this is what I don't like: Carl is humble and hard working. He is trying to advance with his own merit via skating. OK, he gets injured, but he starts again, advancing through his own merit through cooking. Success. And he finds his father and his father is rich. Nice little ending.
But wait, there's more. Because his mother finds her family, and they're super rich. So now Carl/Donghae leaves the kimchi factory to become the scion of the other kimchi company. OK. But pretty soon, he is, without any hotel management experience, running the hotel. All because he was related to rich grandpa.
But wait, there's more. Because not only is he now running the company (or supposed to, anyway), but gramps left him a safe deposit box containing FORT KNOX! Yes, that is FORT KNOX! So, now, because he happens to be related to the right person--someone he really doesn't have a relationship with, hasn't been close to or helped (though he would've if he knew him, because he's a good guy)--he now owns millions of dollars in gold bars. Meanwhile, the people who successfully ran the hotel are out on their butts--but fortunately, they writers conveniently made them evil, so you're not supposed to feel bad for them.
The moral of the story? It's nice to work hard, but in the end, it's who you know that matters. Sadly, it's probably the most realistic show ever.

hahahahaha, poodlepal, you made my day after a not so good episode tonight.
Bongee still is afraid, or don't get used to sleeping with Donghae who goes to sleep on suit, with tie and vest on, the first night I guess, that he sleeping with Bongee.
Now KJ is ill, 3 episodes before the end of the drama....
