What was the point of killing off Yummy with 3 episodes to go? If Minho ever finds out, he will be really bummed. Couldnt they have just left it like it was?

I'm so ticked off that Ms. Seo 'sent' Minyong back to Shinji. Augh.

Last night was maudlin. I kind of always thought that Minyong was better with Shinji. Ms. Seo and he are both sort of passive people, and he needed someone bossy like Shinji to push him around. But the whole thing was done so heavy handedly. There are a couple more plot twists left, but what I read on the website (that gave away the plot and ending) was right: it said it would get much heavier and less comedic at the end, and it sure did. Even the retirement party was mopey. Thank god for Beom's fresh scent.

At least we know that in 2008, Yunho finally got his motorcycle. The sappy ending of this ruined what was overall not a bad dramedy. Onto the next one.

It wouldn't be a K-drama without ticking us off.

I agree with you Linda, it always tick us, also is not real, only drama. I post yesterday, I guess my pc got crash, so may be I try to not type to much. I think tonight is the ending?? I hate how it turn out so far, because how could Ms Seo sacrifice like that, they had been through too much already, now she gave up. Well, I still like this drama so far I could say the best one I seen for all k-drama

I may miss tonight, I'm going shopping for my vacation. I'll watch it on the Internet if I have to, but I don't think it will have one of those "four years later everyone is happy" endings.
Anyway, here is my final assessment: What was good: most of the characters were likable, but the weren't heroes, like the leads in the regular dramas. There were some successful attempts at making them 3-D--like Shinji, who wanted a career but still loved her family, or the father, who was a fool but still loved his kids and had some competence as a stock broker. Yunho grew a lot. He started out as sort of a bully and eventually became sort of a sensitive lost boy.
What was bad: Too many genres. Was it a gross-out comedy, a spy action-thriller, a domestic comedy like Growing Pains, all of the above? None of the above?
I don't like the way Mr. Lee's decision was handled. I thought he would decide that he still loved Shinji and happily go back to her. This deus-ex-machina car wreck was depressing and unnecessary. As for Yumi's subplot--beyond stupid. What were we supposed to learn from this, that your first love is really a spy?

I don't even know where to start. The only thing that I liked was that Yunho found Ms. Seo and I'm still not for them having a relationship.
Tsnowice and Poodlepal, I'm with you both too. Minyong and Shinji are not back together in the end so why the hell did she cause the breakup of Ms. Seo and Minyong?!!?!? It's all fictional but I hope Minyong doesn't get back with her even though we'll never know, ha ha!
Will we ever get what we want from a drama?

Oh dear. Just saw the finale on crunchy roll. It was bad! It was worse than the finale of the Bizarre Bunch when Jongnam beat her daughter for playing horsie with her dad. Poor Minho lost his friend, his girlfriend, and there was not update on what he was doing. Shouldn't he be in a prestigious college with his excellent grades?
What a hot mess.

Hi folks - I just watched the last 3 episodes in Sitka Alaska online also on crunchyroll... It seemed the last episodes were mostly snippets of the whole season and very little new material. I'm also sorry Minyong went back to Shinji but they really didn't get back together....poor Ms Seo - she really didn't deserve to be treated that way. The part about Beom having extra negative ions was cute.. Basically 167 half hours that could have been a lot better.
