i finished episode 5 and this one is growing on me. The main girl Jeon Ji (Gianna)Jun was picked on one list by DF as the prettiest star of 2014. Not in my estimation. I keep staring at the freckle on the right side of her nose.

I saw episode 1 and it was pretty good. Very similar to High School Love On, which started so promisingly then dropped its supernatural subplot to just be morbid. Hopefully this will be better.

Oh, poodlepal, you're watching this one...the 'unofficial extra' weekend drama, rather than the 'official' one....Suspicious Housekeeper....no problem....just remember dodgerman is way ahead so we should mention in the beginning of the post what ep we have seen in case we don't want to read a spoiler....

The humor in this show is supposed to be how Ji Hyun Jun's character is this superstar Idol actress but in real life she's kind of ordinary and dumb. It offers a slice of life in the world of show business and how unglamorous it can be Ala The Greatest Love. She fumbles over her words and phrases is constantly causes Internet scandals on her SNS page(Facebook). She also loses popularity and suffers a fall but she'll redeem herself eventually. Of course she gets better due to the alien's influence.
Inside of this, there is a rivalry with her friend /protégé/long standing bridesmaid Played by Yoo Ina as one falls and the other rises as a result.

I watched ep 5 yesterday but will be watching SH on the weekend....I like the way it segues from the modern to the ancient time - so the young girl in the olden days is the modern actress...at least he thinks so. I wonder how he met the older man that he spends so much time with - did I miss that somewhere?

In the Joseon Era, the alien meets a noble man/government official who befriends him and teaches him. In the modern Era, he meets the lawyer as a young man but the problem is that the Alien doesn't age like humans. Actually throughout history he's living then faking his own death when he feels it's time to move on.
