I'm halfway through ep 5 - will watch some more tonight....I think it's growing on me as well - and I miss the Gumiho (sp?) from Emergency Couple. ;-)
I really like the inn owner, Eom Hyo-seop- he was in Wild Chives and Bean Soup as well as Feast of the Gods, although I can't remember who he was there....
She's not very nice in this one but the inn owner's wife, Kim Hee-Jung - was in 3 Brothers and Famous Chil Princesses.

I finished ep 12 last night - it ended with a strange mysterious woman in a covered up palanquin going to see that terrible man Jo GwanWoong....just looking at him makes me nauseous.
Well, I think that Kang Chi is starting to like YeoWool - he realizes how much she has done to help him even after seeing his wolf side...as against his 'sister' Chung Jo who rejected him.
I really like all the actors here - particularly the Admiral, the Monk and the head of the gisaeng house....
I am curious as to who the other Two Masters of the school are...
Also, thanks madman999, I read a wiki page about the Admiral - he was very famous in the late 1500's....

Saw another two episodes or maybe one and a half....anyway Wolf Dad is back, looking even cuter....but apparently very evil now and still don't know about the woman under the lampshade....they show a bit of her face but too fast for me to figure her out....

Another episode or so - yes, the lampshade lady must be Seo Hwa - she has that tattoo on her shoulder - but when she took off the hat when Tao So came to visit, I really didn't recognize her - she looks very different....Wolf Dad on the other hand looks better than ever - he looks younger than his son....lol...

lampshade Lady sounds like Miss Korea but she did not look like her. I am in the middle of ep 16, Hope to get to 20 before I leave. I know that....but she has the tattoo and the scars from being scratched by her 'husband'....maybe there will be some explanation of her face looking different. I am in the middle of ep 17, I think.....there are 24 eps in this one. You leave Monday, then? Have a great trip!

Maybe they switched actresses because Lee Yeon Hee began to film Miss Korea??? I think they were filmed in the same year.

In ep 19 I recognized the Japanese man (Ryohei Otani) who rescued Miss Korea....he was in TV Novel Dear My Sister, the man who married the older sister who daughter was killed, and he was also in The Road Home....

Finished this one- I liked it quite a bit - sort of semi-historical - and my knowledge of Japanese history of that period and watching Japanese historical dramas made it more interesting. The sketch of the ship he planned to build looks just like the one on his wiki page.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yi_Sun-sinA lot of good actors as well.... The last part of the last episode was excellent, I thought...

I was going to recommend that to you if you wanted to watch more of Seung Gi. Also has one of the prettiest kdrama actresses - Shin Mi Na.
